Busy route shuts as part of promenade refurbishment
A busy Douglas road is to close for eight weeks as part of the promenade regeneration scheme.
Summerhill will shut from 15 July, a week today, until 8 September.
The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed the next phase of road closures in the capital project.
It's a key road for drivers using the prom in its current one-way system, to access Onchan and onto the Island's coast road.
Other changes coming up are on Church Road Marina, which is to close for works from 25 July to 10 November (15 weeks).
