38-year-old charged with three offences
A Douglas woman has appeared in court accused of claiming more than £8,000 in benefits she wasn’t entitled to.
Jennifer Anne Cowie, of Lheannag Park, allegedly failed to inform Treasury about a change in her circumstances between 14 January 2021 and 5 February 2023.
The 38-year-old has also been charged with making false representations to obtain benefits in November 2020 and October 2022.
Bail was granted until her next court appearance on 18 July.
