40-year-old arrested after concerns over driving
A Douglas woman will be sentenced in the New Year after admitting failing to provide samples to police.
Veronica Marques Dos Santos, of Peel Road, was arrested by officers on 24 October after concerns were raised about the standard of her driving.
The 40-year-old had been witnessed ‘all over the road’, whilst travelling through the capital, just after 7pm; she failed a roadside breath test and was taken to Police Headquarters.
However, once there, she didn’t provide any further samples for analysis - a Social Enquiry Report has been requested before Dos Santos is sentenced on 19 January.
