32-year-old told behaviour was 'unacceptable'
A Douglas woman will be sentenced later this year after assaulting a police officer.
Katie Rose Saunders, of Brunswick Road, admitted throwing her phone in his face whilst she was being arrested on Alfred Teare Grove.
At Douglas Courthouse the prosecution told the 32-year-old: "It is totally unacceptable to assault a police officer in any instance."
A social enquiry report has been requested before Saunders is sentenced on 15 October.
She’s been bailed until that date.
Update: Saunders was handed a 12-month conditional discharge during sentencing. She was also ordered to pay £150 in compensation and £50 in prosecution costs.
