Holidaymaker plucked from Port Erin
Footage of a dramatic rescue mission in Port Erin has gone viral.
The UK and Manx emergency services launched a joint operation last Friday to help a holidaymaker who'd fallen ill after climbing up Milner's Tower on Bradda Head.
Paramedics were unable to help the man descend, prompting a decision to save him by helicopter.
A Coastguard helicopter from Caernarfon in Wales was called in to airlift him to Noble's Hospital.
Now an aerial video of the incident, published by the British Maritime and Coastguard Agency, has racked up more than 26,000 views on social media.
