Tynwald approval sought for
Public sector pensions reforms need to be as drastic as those for state pensions according to the chief minister.
Allan Bell is seeking approval from Tynwald next week for the Manx government's guiding policy document, Agenda for Change.
The revised blueprint asks if it's right public sector workers can retire in their mid 50s and receive big payouts which wouldn't be possible in the private sector.
Mr Bell says addressing this issue is just as important as reforming state pensions:
