Warning issued for coming weeks
Police are warning anyone who drives home drunk is likely to spend Christmas behind bars.
A 24-year-old local man became the latest to fall foul of the law last week, after crashing his car while over the limit.
He's currently in custody.
The Constabulary's annual festive drink driving campaign is underway, with hundreds of motorists expected to be stopped in the coming weeks.
Prison sentences, fines and disqualification are all possibilities for offenders - described by the force as 'the gift no one wants'.
