The East Baldwin Road has reopened, following a serious road traffic accident this morning.
It happened around 10.15am, near to the Paper Mill, and involved just one vehicle.
Meanwhile, police are asking drivers to slow down and drive to the conditions.
Heavy rain has led to large amounts of standing water and the wet weather is set to continue well into the night.
There have been several accidents on the Islands roads already, including at Laurel Bank, Silverdale and the Gooseneck.
