Emergency services attended collision scene in Douglas yesterday
Two people walked away without serious injuries after a major road collision in Douglas yesterday (Sunday).
The incident happened at around midday on Woodbourne Road.
Fire and rescue services, police and ambulance crews attended the scene where a Citroen Xsara and a BMW 3 series had collided.
Deputy Chief Fire Officer John Murtagh called the emergency services when he happened to be passing and saw the incident occur.
The driver of the Citroen was treated for shock and the BMW driver appeared to be injury free.
There were no other passengers, however there was serious damage to both vehicles.
