Aircraft banned over Tynwald Hill during annual ceremony
Drone users risk a fine if they fly over St John's during this week's Tynwald Ceremony.
Restrictions are in place to prohibit aircraft, including drones, flying below 2,500 feet above sea level between 9am and 12pm on Friday in the airspace within a two-mile radius of St John's.
The regulations are to prevent flying in the area of Tynwald Hill during the gathering of large numbers for the ceremony.
Those caught breaking the rules face a summary conviction, with a fine of up to £2,500.
