It's to offer support about new legislation
There's a drop-in session today, Wednesday 11 February, for Island charities that operate internationally to find out how they might be impacted by new legislation.
A revised Specified Non-Profit Organisation Code will look to simplify requirements and provide free training, guidance, and support to affected charities.
The drop-in will take place at the Promenade Church in Douglas from 4pm to 7pm, and officers from the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (FSA) will be on hand to offer advice.
The Government says the changes will help keep the Island’s generous Non-Profit Organisation sector safe while allowing it to continue making a positive impact at home and abroad.
The FSA is also currently inviting feedback on the changes, with a consultation open until Monday, 2 March 2026.
You can find the consultation here.
