Many involve cannabis possession
For the first time ever, drugs offences were the most prevalent type of crime recorded in the Isle of Man last month, according to the chief constable.
Gary Roberts put out the statistic on his personal Twitter feed.
Of those drugs offences, 60% involved the possession of cannabis.
He says the statistics show a lot of hard work by officers, but raise many questions.
Just this week, a man was arrested in connection with the discovery of £150,000-worth of cannabis and £30,000 in cash.
