Police say motorists had to take avoiding action
A Dutch biker has been arrested for trying to ride against the one-way system on the Mountain Road.
The Roads Policing Unit says officers stopped the rider after he did a u-turn at Hailwood's Rise and rode against the one-way system towards the Bungalow.
The police say motorists had to take avoiding action and the road was closed to avoid an incident.
The male was arrested and will be spoken to about the matter.
