Firefighters attend scene on Peel Headlands
Fire crews were called out in the west of the Island to tackle a small grass fire on Peel Headlands.
A team of firefighters attended shortly after 3pm yesterday following reports of smoke in the area.
There were also reports of a group of children in the area seen running away prior to the fire service's arrival, with details having been passed on to police.
Officers say the early call to the emergency services prevented the fire from spreading.
