Social media among contributing factors
Early intervention is key to helping those with eating disorders.
That's from the Manager of Community Health Services, Ross Bailey.
Over the past year there have been 36 referrals to the adult mental heath service on Island, for those dealing with eating disorders.
One reason for the condition could be the desire for women and men to achieve the 'ideal body', displayed to us over social media.
However, Mr Bailey and the Dietician for Mental Health, Nikki Partington, say this is just one of a number of factors contributing:
