Data from the government's latest Earnings Survey shows little change over the year, but demonstrates that earnings have not kept pace with inflation.
Median gross weekly pay of full-time employees stood at £765 in 2025, a rise of £10 on 2024.
Average pay in the Public Sector stood at £965 - £64 more than the private sector.
For the purposes of the survey the term median represents the central point in a range of values.
Compared with the UK median earnings in the Isle of Man were 1 percent higher, though this falls within the margin of error for the Manx survey so is not a statistically significant difference.
Meanwhile comparing average full-time weekly pay over the previous 10 years shows a steady rise in nominal earnings, but with growth slowing significantly after 2022.
The number of people earning less than the living wage rose to 27.4 percent in 2025 compared with an estimated 20.2 percent in 2024.
