Help needed for charity fundraising project
A street collection in towns and villages across the Island this weekend will collect cash to send to areas in East Africa, devastated by war and famine.
But collectors are needed by The One World Centre who are organising it.
It follows the launch of the Disaster Emergency Committee's appeal for help.
Their Chief Executive, Saleh Saeed, has described hunger on a massive scale looming across East Africa.
Anyone who can help is asked to call Rosemary Clarke on 322 044.
