Air links between Island and London top of agenda at TravelWatch event
The key role played by easyJet in providing air links between the Isle of Man and London will be top of the agenda at a TravelWatch event this week.
easyJet's UK route manager Jennifer Groves will be the main speaker at the group's autumn public meeting on Thursday (26 Nov).
The airline is sole provider on the Gatwick route, a service which will become more important when Flybe pulls out of the London Stansted route next spring.
TravelWatch will raise the loss of weekend flights to and from the Island during the peak summer months, and ask easyJet why it doesn't offer 'through' tickets to its other destinations.
Spokesman Brendan O'Friel says another common gripe among Island air passengers will likely be raised.
Thursday's meeting at the Manx Legion Hall in Douglas starts at 7.30pm, entrance is free and it's open to all.
