Cost of KPMG contract not yet revealed
The treasury minister says the development of a future economic strategy is focused on creating jobs, and not on big business.
KPMG has been hired by government to develop a 'five-to-ten year' plan as part of wider, post-Covid recovery programme.
Details of the contract awarded to the 'Big Four' accounting organisation will be made available to Tynwald 'in the near future'.
Alf Cannan says the consultants' international experience is needed to develop this plan, but insists views from all quarters will be heard:
