Haywood loses seat after seeking re-election
Rushen has two new MHKs who say the Manx economy will be their focus over the next five years.
Michael Crowe and Mark Kemp were elected by constituents voting in the south.
Mr Crowe topped the poll with 1878 votes.
He said it was ‘humbling’ and said he’d be prepared to consider any role in government to get the economy back on track:
Mr Kemp secured 1120 votes to take the second seat.
He told Manx Radio the economy needed to be diversified:
Former government minister Michelle Haywood was unsuccessful in keeping her seat, after her five year term, after polling 790 votes.
