Claims changes make sense
The new Education, Sport and Culture Minister says a rearrangement of government departments will enable them to work better alongside each other.
Both the DED and DEC have today been officially relaunched under different names, and with altered remits.
Graham Cregeen's department will now be responsible for running the VillaGaiety as well as employment and careers services.
But he's denied a decision to drop the word 'children' from its name is putting young people aside - insisting they are a priority across government.
He told Manx Radio the changes make sense.
