Dr Allinson says CoMin was guided by data
Education Minister Dr Alex Allinson has defended the timing of the decision to enter the last lockdown in early March.
He was appearing before Tynwald's Social Affairs Policy Review Committee.
The chair, Onchan MHK Julie Edge, questioned why the lockdown wasn't announced on Saturday 27 February when people were urged to cancel events and stay at home.
Dr Allinson says not enough data was known at that time:
