Some students staying at home from today
The education minister says she's 'extremely disappointed' by the disruption caused by the escalation of the industrial action by the NASUWT.
The union announced it would be escalating action just a week into the start of the new academic year - which means, amongst other things, they'll now refuse to cover break times.
From today students from Ballakermeen High School and Bemahague's have to stay at home.
Julie Edge says the disruption will impact the younger years at schools and it needs to be addressed.
