Post will be re-advertised
Efforts to recruit a new chief constable for the Isle of Man have been unsuccessful.
The Department of Home Affairs has confirmed it will be re-advertising the post.
The current chief constable Gary Roberts is due to retire later this year.
In a statement the DHA said: “On this occasion, following the advertisement and interview process, the recruitment of a new chief constable was unsuccessful.”
