Drug dealers 'only interested in profits' says inspector
People who import heroin to the Island have ‘little regard’ to those whose lives the Class A drug ruins.
That’s the view of the Isle of Man Constabulary’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit.
Last week two Island residents – Shaun Milligan and Frank Harrison – were jailed for a combined total of 18 years for their parts in bringing heroin – concealed in tubes of silicone – to the Island.
Detective Inspector Jamie Tomlinson told Manx Radio his officers will continue to work ‘tirelessly’ to target offenders like this:
In an earlier version of this story Manx Radio incorrectly, and unintentionally, reported the name of the defendant Frank Harrison as Frank Thomas. We rectified this error as soon as possible and apologise for any misunderstanding this may have caused.
