A new survey is predicting 10 per cent growth in the Island’s egaming industry over the next year.
The Manx eGaming Association says our online gaming sector grew by almost 15 per cent last year, and is set for yet more expansion.
In its report, the Association says the number of residents working in egaming has quadrupled in the last seven years, with 775 people employed by companies last year.
And that’s mean the industry’s overall tax contribution – through payroll, National Insurance and duty – has leapt from £3 million in 2006 to £16.4 million last year.
