Police encourage candidates to report potential crimes
People standing for election to the House of Keys say they have had campaign posters removed and defaced.
Manx Radio has heard from five candidates, each standing in different constituencies, who have had signposts and banners taken down or marked with stickers.
In some instances, it’s understood banners were removed less than three hours after they were put up.
Some of the affected candidates say they feel personally targeted, with one describing this year’s election as having ‘nasty undertones’.
Others say it’s just a part of the election.
