Proposals to re-draw the Island's electoral boundaries for the first time in almost 30 years have been unveiled.
The Boundary Review Commission has re-drawn the map for House of Keys elections, creating twelve new two-seat constituencies.
The proposals are based on an underlying principle to improve democracy already agreed by Tywnald.
If approved, the changes will bring an end to anomalies in the current system - where voters in some seats have two or three votes while others have just one.
There would also be more equal numbers of voters - around 7,000 - in each constituency.
