Rare appearance from innermost planet of the Solar System
The planet Mercury is set to make an appearance in Manx skies tonight, in a rare event of its kind.
Venus, which has been particularly bright of late, can act as a guide for stargazers to spot the innermost planet.
Its visibility is dependent on how clear the skies are this evening (21 May), however there is also an opportunity to see it in the coming days too.
