Treasury Minister speaks out about issue at Tynwald sitting
An email sent to the wrong address was to blame for late benefits payments last week.
Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan confirmed the cause at this month's sitting of Tynwald, following an emergency question from Speaker of the House of Keys Juan Watterson.
He also revealed 13 of those who didn't receive funds on time needed a £100 emergency payment.
Mr Cannan said work is underway to ensure this doesn't happen again in the future:
Several sailings at risk or cancelled due to adverse weather
Glencrutchery Road to close to northbound traffic
MHK's shock over Hospice announcement
Baldrine Methodist Hall is not being sold by church
Sulby Straight closure in place this weekend
