Police are appealing for witnesses after vital safety equipment was stolen from the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service.
On Wednesday night, fire service personnel left an LED flashing emergency beacon on top of a cone on Peel Road in Douglas to warn drivers about heavy flooding.
But between 9pm and 10:30pm a young woman was spotted taking it.
