Large numbers of people visiting the Emergency Department at Noble's Hospital is causing delays and longer than usual wait times.
Manx Care is urging residents to consider alternative facilities if appropriate describing the ED as 'extremely busy'.
However it adds that anyone who requires urgent medical attention should continue to visit.
