Manx Care team allocating accommodation
Government's approach to emergency overnight housing provision is about 'long term stability', according to the chair of the Housing and Communities Board.
The Homelessness Strategy, approved by Tynwald in December last year, set a target of July for Manx Care to have provision in place for anyone finding themselves without a place to stay.
It followed the closure of Graih's night shelter on Broadway in Douglas.
Douglas North MHK David Ashford says a pathway put in place to allocate accommodation via social services is the best approach:

Senior medical leaders 'reject' results of rapid bed review
Ramsey Commissioners looking for planning approval for new social housing
Students split on prospect of under-16 social media ban
