Persons evacuated from building

Upon arrival, fire crews made sure the final occupant was out of the building before they were handed over to the ambulance service for medical attention.

Four fire appliances, Aerial Ladder, Duty Officer, Brigade Officer and decontamination support team from Castletown, Rushen and Douglas stations attended the scene and remained for around 2 hours to bring the incident to a close.
