Patrick Road closed as multiple engines respond
Emergency services are dealing with a large gorse fire near Peel.
The Department of Infrastructure has closed off Patrick Road while multiple fire crews tackle the blaze.
The fire and rescue service say they're making 'good progress' with the flames, which are said to cover a space of 200m x 30m.
It's thought crews will remain in attendance for another hour as they dampen down the affected area.
The public are asked to avoid Patrick Road.
