Tim Johnston keen to see proposals progress through planning
The new chair of Manx Utilities believes there is an 'end in sight' to the pumping of raw sewage into the sea on Island.
Tim Johnston says he's keen to see plans for sewage treatment facilities in Peel and Garff progress through the planning process as soon as possible.
Should approvals be granted, the MUA hopes residents will start to see results coming through by the end of 2024.
Mr Johnston accepts there may still be opposition to the solutions which are being put forward:
