Demolition now underway
Demolition has officially got underway on the former Imperial Hotel in Douglas.
It marks the end of an era for the building, which has stood on Central Promenade since 1890.
Since its closure a decade ago, it has been derelict.
The takedown is set to take two weeks.
But many will be unhappy to see it go - including these tourists.
