It's understood Michael Morrison and commissioners reached agreement
It's understood legal proceedings between Onchan District Commissioners and the authority's former clerk Michael Morrison have been resolved.
A pre-hearing review between the two parties was scheduled to take place today (18 Dec) but has since been removed from the employment tribunal listings.
Mr Morrison was sacked by the board in August 2017 following an extraordinary general meeting, attended by four of the seven commissioners.
To date the local authority has refused to reveal why he was dismissed.
The nature of any deal struck has not been made public, and both parties have refused to comment at the present time.
It should be noted if a gagging order formed any part of the agreement, it is unlikely further information will be revealed.
