
A trainee teacher is preparing to swim the length of the Island later this month - but it's only a warm-up for a much bigger challenge!
Twenty-two year old Craig Seddon is on a teaching placement at St Ninian's High School and organised his 33 mile swim just a week after arriving from Manchester.
He's already won backing from tour company Manx Sea Quest which is providing a support boat for Craig's swim from the Calf to the Point of Ayre on 26 May.
But his long-term goal is to swim the Atlantic in two years time, before tackling the rest of the world's oceans, raising money for charity.
