The Department of Infrastructure says it has no effect on the terms of its agreement
The energy firm hoping to find natural gas in Manx waters is yet to pay its licence fee for last year, despite now being issued with an invoice for the 2024 period.
Crogga promises residents and businesses on the Island will "benefit environmentally, socially and financially" from the extraction of fossil fuels.
However, the infrastructure minister says requested 'variations' enabling the company to begin drilling before completing 3D seismic surveys have delayed the payment. Manx Radio has contacted the Department of Infrastructure to ask what the annual fee is.
A decision on that proposal is expected to be made before the end of June.
