It still needs approval from the Council of Minister's and Tynwald
A bill - which would allow a financially distressed energy supplier to be placed into a form of special administration - has been given its second reading in The House of Keys.
It's being stressed that this measure exists as a last resort; the Council of Minister's and Tynwald's approval would be needed.
