Police were called to Douglas this evening, following reports of an 'unresponsive' male found near the rear of the Sefton Hotel.
At around 7pm, officers arrived at the scene to assist paramedics, in the area of Church Road Marina and Finch Road.
A number of roads nearby were closed, and the public was asked to avoid the area whilst emergency services tended to the man, who had 'sustained injuries'.
The constabulary says enquiries are ongoing to find out how those injuries were sustained.
