Hospitality, tourism and retail businesses to be affected
The enterprise minister says some of the Island’s hospitality, tourism and retail businesses won’t survive the Covid-19 pandemic.
Laurence Skelly was appearing live on Manx Radio's Mannin Line this lunch time.
He said despite his department’s best efforts, and financial support from treasury, there will still be ‘casualties’ in the hospitality sector.
However, Mr Skelly says moving to one metre of social distancing will be a ‘watershed moment’ for Island businesses:
