
April sitting gets underway today
Airport parking charges, and an employment tribunal concerning the Island’s former medical director, will be discussed in Tynwald today.
Thirty questions have been tabled for this month’s sitting.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse wants to know how much money was collected for parking at Ronaldsway Airport in each of the last six months; he's also asking for projected figures for the next six months.
Speaking to Manx Radio he said he hopes the pending changes to airport parking (1 May) will be postponed.
Douglas North MHK, and former health minister, David Ashford is asking for an update on the Healthcare Reform Bill, access to credit cards and on ongoing renewable energy projects.
Claire Christian, of Douglas South, has seven questions on subjects ranging from the Dr Rosalind Ranson tribunal, the impact Eurovision is having on patient services in Liverpool and the maintenance of local authority play areas.
Speaker of the House of Keys, and Rushen MHK, Juan Watterson wants to know about progress on the Castle Rushen High School replacement and Manx Care's assessment of its funding requirements measured against what it's being asked to provide.
