DoI shutting route next week
The Mountain Road will be closed next week so highway maintenance work can be carried out.
The route – from Barrule Park in Ramsey to the Creg Ny Baa Back Road – will be shut between 6.30pm and 10pm between Monday and Friday (5 to 9 August).
The Department of Infrastructure says access will be maintained to the parking area at The Bungalow and Victory Café via the Tholt-y-Will.
A contingency period has also been set down – from 12 to 16 August – in case of bad weather.
