It's at the Sea Terminal from 10am today
Would you know what to do in an emergency?
An event is taking place today for Isle of Man residents to learn how to prepare for them and stay safe.
It will be at the Sea Terminal in Douglas with emergency and response agencies across the Island.
The Isle Be Ready event aims to raise awareness of the simple steps individuals, families and businesses can take to be better prepared for unexpected events such as severe weather, power outages or travel disruption.
It's on between 10am-1pm.
Emergency Planning Officer Jane Kelly MBE says Isle be Ready is about giving people the confidence and knowledge to look after themselves and each other when it matters most.
"By bringing together our emergency services and partners in a busy public setting like the Sea Terminal, we can reach a wide audience and show just how simple it can be to take practical steps that make a real difference in an emergency."
