Charity bus makes final stop on tour
A charity's campaign bus highlighting the impact of sight loss, makes its final stop on a round-Island tour today (17 Sept).
The Royal National Institute for the Blind will station a unique Eye Pod simulator on Granville Street in Douglas.
An interactive experience shows visitors how sight loss could impact their life - with advice offered on how to prevent a number of conditions.
The Eye Pod has been brought to the Island as part of the Manx Blind Welfare Society's Vision Awareness Week.
Coordinator Debbie Thompson says it's a powerful tool.
