Meeting at Manx Legion Club in honour of Roger Tomlinson
A special event will take place at the Manx Legion Club in Douglas this evening to remember founder of the Positive Action Group, Roger Tomlinson.
Mr Tomlinson, who died last month at the age of 82, is well known in the world of Manx politics for his campaigning on subjects such as Dignity in Dying, abortion reform, and climate issues, amongst others.
He was also a member of the Best for Laxey Bay campaign group, which fought for better sewage schemes for Garff.
To be opened by Garff MHK Daphne Caine, the meeting will start at 7pm and anyone who wishes to share their own memories of Roger and tributes is invited along to do so.
