Service to remember those lost to the disease
Global efforts have begun today (1 Dec) to raise awareness about one of the most devastating diseases in human history.
World Aids Day 2016 gives people the opportunity to unite in their support for those with HIV.
The Manx Rainbow Association have been working closely with the Island's HIV Support Group to arrange events across the Island to mark the occasion.
They include an open day at the GUM clinic from 10 am- 2 pm offering health advice and a candlelit service at St Matthew's Church Douglas to remember all those who've lost their lives to the disease.
