Children's home boss to reappear at a later date
The former manager of Knottfield Children's Care Home, on Woodbourne Road in Douglas, was bailed after appearing in the Deputy High Bailiff's court today (Tues 18).
In October, Joseph Henry Marshall pleaded not guilty to five indecent assaults on three boys at Knottfield between 1974 and 1982.
The Eighty-two-year-old of Sartfell Road in Douglas saw his case adjourned, and he is reportedly now due to re-appear at a later date.
Mr Marshall is also accused of gross indecency and a further serious sexual offence, but did not enter pleas to those charges in October.
